110th Anniversary Charity Donations

Founded in 1909, this year marks Western Surety Company’s 110th year in business. As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, during the course of the year we made three quarterly donations of $1,909 to charities across the country whose programs support and enrich the lives of children.

Scott Donald, Western Surety’s President and CEO, is pleased to announce Mother Teresa Middle School as the final recipient of our anniversary donations and a special year ending gift of $2,019 is being made.

“The Hill Group of Companies including Western Surety is proud to support the great works of Mother Teresa Middle School and the positive difference they are making in children’s lives right here in Regina,” advises Donald.

Mother Teresa Middle School provides an enhanced, faith-based middle school education for Regina’s vulnerable inner city youth in grades 6-8. They aim to help break the cycle of poverty among its target families and strive to create “Men and Women for Others” by nurturing students with hope and confidence, to apply knowledge with a moral conscience and in a digital world.

“Investing in children’s lives was the goal of our 110th anniversary donations. Through this initiative, Western Surety is very pleased to have provided support to the children and youth in the communities in which we live and work.”
