Scott Donald, President and CEO of Western Surety Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Salmon, Regina effective June 17, 2024, and our new hire Devin Spence, Halifax who will be starting July 8, 2024.
Greg Salmon has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Greg has been with WSC since January 2010 and oversees the regions of British Columbia and Alberta. Greg graduated from Queen’s University in 2001, received the ACSB designation in 2012 and his CPA, CMA designation in 2015. Congratulations Greg!

Devin Spence will be joining our Dartmouth, NS office as a Surety Underwriter on July 8th, 2024. Devin graduated from Western University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a specialization in Global Commerce. He brings five years of experience in the insurance sector.
Devin is a Southern Ontario native, living on the East Coast. Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors, spending family time with his wife, Hannah and their children Hazel, Hattie and Mason and last but not least passionately cheering on the Maple Leafs.
