Scott Donald, President and CEO of Western Surety Company ("WSC") is pleased to announce the promotion of
Cory Manchur, Toronto effective September 1, 2024 to the Vice President position. Cory will oversee our
local office and manage the Ontario region.
Originally from Winnipeg, Cory began his career with WSC in the Regina office in January 2010. In late 2011, Cory relocated to our Toronto office to support the growth of our Ontario operations. Cory graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a major in Finance, has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and has held his ACSB designation since 2012.
"Cory has played an integral part in the growth and success of our Ontario operations over the years," said Donald. "Cory's promotion is a testament to the value he brings to WSC and in his enhanced role, Cory's focus will be to continue to provide service excellence to our broker partners and construction clients, while also utilizing his near 15 years of experience to help foster the career development of the Toronto staff."
