Remembering Bryan Alsop

Our condolences go to the family of Bryan Alsop, who passed away on June 12, 2010.

Bryan was a respected Winnipeg broker who represented Western Surety for nearly 35 years. He was born and raised in the insurance business — part of the family business, Ryan Agency, which had been operating since 1903. In the late '80s Ryan merged with Gateway Insurance Agency to become Ryan Gateway with Bryan as President.

In 2009 Ryan Gateway, merged with Horizon Insurance to form the largest privately owned insurance brokerage firm in Manitoba. After the merger, Bryan continued to contribute as an Account Executive and Board Member.

Bryan was a loyal and caring advocate for his clients. The relationships he forged with them lasted a lifetime. Our sincere condolences go out to his wife, Diane and family.

It's always about the people!
