With its first year just completed, Western Surety’s Ontario office has been living up to its promise to enhance service and increase business.

Branch manager Isaac Barcan says the Toronto location is increasing visibility with brokers and contractors, and providing a more timely response when onsite visits are required.

“For example,” he says, “I’d estimate that we’ve quadrupled the number of meetings we hold with clients and contractors.”

The location has also opened the door for Isaac, Senior Underwriter George Vlastakis and Surety Associate Elsabe Wasserman to become active in seven new industry associations in which clients and contractors are also involved.

As a result, Ontario brokers are quickly becoming more aware of the Western Surety Company as another great option to include in their decision-making.

“What we create with a faster, closer, more frequent presence is a strengthened relationship with clients,” says Isaac.

“We’ve increased the number of our clients by about 50% in this first year.”

“So we really want to thank our existing clients, as well as the new companies who are just beginning to choose us.”

“We look forward to building the future together.”
