Congratulations to two Surety Underwriters at Western Surety who have worked hard and completed the rigorous ACSB designation program.

The Associate in Canadian Surety Bonding is the highest level of specialized training and expertise in the surety business.

Cory Manchur is in our Toronto office. He has been with Western Surety since January 2010, as a Surety Trainee for a year and since then as a Surety Underwriter.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in commerce from the University of Manitoba with a major in finance, and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Greg Salmon is in our Regina office. Like Cory he began as a Surety Trainee in 2010 and was appointed to Surety Underwriter in 2011.

Greg graduated from Queen's University in 2001 with an honours Bachelor degree in economics and has completed the Investment Funds in Canada, Canadian Insurance and Life License Qualification Program courses.

Not done with studies yet, Greg will begin working towards his Certified Management Accounting designation in January 2013.
